Registration for both Recreational Soccer and Travel Soccer begins on Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
Sidney Recreational Soccer is a great way to learn and improve soccer skills, strengthen fitness, and have fun! It is for kids age 5 through 12th grade (must be 5 years old by April 1, 2019). The Recreational Soccer season starts (weather permitting) on Monday, April 1 with two weeks of skills development, followed by Recreational Games starting Monday, April 15. Skills development and games occur on most weekdays at 5:15 or 6:15 p.m. at the Richland County Fairgrounds. Specific team schedules TBD when registration ends. Registration fees for Recreational Soccer are $55/player ($40/high school) and include a team jersey.
Sidney Travel Soccer is for kids interested in a more competitive experience, where players compete against other Montana clubs, learn more advanced skills, and have a great time in a fun, team environment! It is for kids age 10-19 (must be age 10 before January 2019). Travel games are on Saturdays and Sundays in April, May, and early June. Most games will take place in other Montana cities, such as Livingston or Billings. Registration fees for Travel Soccer are $150/player. Players must also purchase a team uniform and pay or arrange for their own travel. Travel players may also play Recreational Soccer for an additional $20/player. All travel players and families must attend one of the travel team meetings on January 14 or 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center.
