4th Annual Small Business Summit

Takin’ Care of Business

Helena, Mont. - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will host the 4th Annual Small Business Summit, Takin’ Care of Business, February 12-14, 2019, in Helena.

This year, the summit kicks off with a reception at Exploration Works followed by two days of business development roundtables, training and networking with Montana businesses. The Summit will be held at the Best Western Helena Great Northern Hotel.

The primary goal of the Small Business Summit is to bring together the small business community in a supportive empowering environment to learn from the knowledge and experience of subject matter experts and each other. Summit attendees will have the opportunity to network and connect with the right people to build relationships and establish partnerships that lead to increased contract opportunities.

The Summit will feature keynote speaker Steve Beck, founder and president of Beck & Associates. He has been described as “wildly entertaining, engaging, funny, and highly motivational.” There will be break-out sessions featuring local speakers covering marketing, employee retention, contract law, cyber security, bonding, and government contracting with the practical instruction for implementation.
