Original Story:

The public is invited to share their concerns and ideas at a public meeting Thursday, March 14 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Richland County Library to help determine the direction of Richland County Transportation Service.

The service is 12 years old and has grown substantially into one of the top transportation services in the state. However, public input is needed to determine what, if any, other uses residents would utilize.

“The transportation system is important to have in our community,” stated Jodi Berry, Commission on Aging. “It’s very affordable and we have many people who are loyal and thankful. We just need your help to determine the direction the system needs to go to make our service even better.”
