The Sidney Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC) recognized businesses that create great workplaces in our community by presenting them with the Employer of Choice Award on May 6. The Sidney JSEC recognized two categories, less than 25 employees and more than 25 employees.
The winner of Employer of Choice Award for more than 25 employees was Hi-Line Trucking, Inc. Pictured are (L-R) Don Smies (Sidney JSEC), Bryan Gartner (Hi-Line Trucking, Inc.) and Leann Pelvit (Sidney JSEC).
The Sidney JSEC chose the winners by collecting applications from employees of various businesses throughout the community.
The recipients of the awards have enthusiastic employees, who say their employers are fully engaged, provide innovative workforce solutions for training, increasing employee participation and motivation. They are also businesses that may have done something exceptional for their employees and /or the community.
This year's recipient of the Employer of Choice Award for fewer than 25 employees was B & B Builders. The winner of the Employer of Choice Award for more than 25 employees was Hi-Line Trucking, Inc. Both employers received glowing reviews from their employees and have provided an exceptional working environment.
