On July 20, 2019 at approximately 0134 hours, law enforcement responded to a RV Park south of Watford City on 125th Ave. NW for a report of shots fired following an incident involving a vehicle that crashed into a RV. The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Watford City Police Department responded to the scene and located an uncooperative suspect who ignored verbal commands to comply. Law enforcement utilized less lethal impact munitions and Taser to successfully gain compliance and take the suspect into custody. The suspect 37-year-old Ricardo Munoz Jr., was charged with felony terrorizing with a dangerous weapon and felony reckless endangerment with extreme indifference.
