A ground breaking was held Monday morning for the new Family Dollar Store which will be built in Sunrise Village, at the corner of 4th and Holly in Sidney. According to Susie Cavanaugh, director of sales for Sunrise Village, the 10,000 sg. ft. store will be built by Ryan Forsyth from Utah, and be completed by the end of the year.

It's wonderful that Sidney is getting a new business!! Just curious as to why they're breaking NEW ground when there's a new space in the strip mall north of town that used to be Shop-ko AND the old Shop-ko & Reynolds South of town? What will become of those buildings? Is there something going into them? SURELY Sidney's planners have thought this through??
