Watford City Writing Workshop: The Written Me

Take a deep breath, shush the naysayers in your mind, and take this first step towards writing your story. Join published writer Sue Skalicky for this this six-session course on memoir writing as she demystifies and simplifies the process. Plan to laugh, learn, and launch your story.

The first workshop session on September 8 is free and limited to 25 participants. Join us at no obligation and see if memoir writing is for you! The remaining five sessions cost $50 and are limited to 12 participants.

 The Written Me workshop is led by Sue Skalicky, a writer, speaker, and pursuer of abundant life. Over the past 30 years, she has worked as a medical photographer, photojournalist, leadership trainer, writer, and teacher. She has worked with the Navigators and Heartbeat Ministries and has written for several publications including Discipleship Journal, The Small Group Network, Christianity Today, Casper Journal, and The New York Times. She is passionate about teaching and inspiring adults and youth worldwide to live each day to its fullest by rewriting the past into the best tomorrows.

 This workshop is made available through the support of Humanities North Dakota, Bismarck State College, North Dakota Council on the Arts, and the Long X Arts Foundation and Pioneer Museum.
