Sidney Drama Team Has Amazing Rounds At Dawson Co. Meet, Nov. 15-16

The Speech, Drama & Debate Team has attended three meets so far this season. The Drama Team has placed 1st at every meet. Noah Kyhl & Isaac Quiroz have placed 1st at all three meets competing in Classical Theatre. I think we should all celebrate the talented students that own their awesomeness. The latest meet was held at Dawson County High School competing against 13 schools, 6 of which were Class A. Speech and Debate compete as one team and Sidney's Debate Team is making strides to be the best arguers, the Public Forum Team of Sam Stephenson & Brandon Smith placed 1st; Madison & Krystan Jason placed 5th with Jade Emily & Sean Earle placing 6th.  Lincoln Douglas Debater Lorraine Coronato placed 2nd. Memorized Public Address competitor Christine Turek placed 1st, Informative Speaker Cloe Go placed 3rd, Impromptu Speaker Garrett Dodds competed, Extemporaneous speaker Colten Dahl placed 3rd. The Team placed 2nd overall.

The Drama Team had some amazing rounds this past weekend. Only 5 drama competitors travelled to Glendive, hoping to do well overall but not expecting to win it all. Dramatic Soloist Senior Madi Brost placed 2nd, Daniel Schneider placed 5th, Humorous Soloist Kodi Schulz placed 2nd and the Classic Classical Theatre Team of Noah Kyhl & Isaac Quiroz placed 1st.
