Richland County Health Department Releases Re-opening Guidelines for Businesses

The Richland County Health Department is asking for your assistance in ensuring that Richland County is able to sustain an economic recovery and protect staff and community members.

The Health Department has created a webpage where you will find several documents for guidance in reopening your business. Note that while you are highly encouraged to submit your plans for reopening, the checklist is voluntary for retail businesses. Licensed establishments, such as those that serve food and drinks, as well as tattoo and piercing establishments, are required to complete the forms. Salon and personal care providers have separate, voluntary forms.

Forms and guidance can be found at http://www.richland.org/index.aspx?nid=770 .

In an effort to develop a community-wide movement, the Health Department will be using the hashtag #ReopenRichlandCounty in all of their materials. They are asking that if you use social media, post a photo or story about how you are helping to ensure we have a sustained economic recovery and post it to their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/richlandcountyhealthdepartment.
