Sidney-Richland County Library Offers New Print Service

Sidney - The Sidney-Richland County Library will begin to offer a new and convenient way to print your documents and photos, thanks to a grant from the Montana Department of Commerce. Patrons will now be able to print from their smartphones, tablets, laptops, or even from home in just a few easy steps. Patrons can then arrange to pick up and pay for their print jobs through curbside services. Designed in partnership with PrinterOn, the world’s largest cloud-based printing provider, this service works seamlessly with the Library’s print management software, EnvisionWare.

“We already had an increasing number of patrons who wanted a way to print from their own device. With COVID-19 this only increased. The new service provides an almost completely contact-free way for patrons to print necessary legal documents or resumes, for example. It fits perfectly with the Trustee’s strategic plan to continue to provide Library services in our community despite the challenges of a pandemic”, explained Kelly Reisig, director.
