Summer days can be especially hot in August. Wearing a mask out in this weather can make things even worse. Luckily local businesses in the area provide some hard serve ice cream options to provide refreshing relief from the heat.

Long X Visitor's Center/Pioneer Museum, Watford City

The Long X Visitor's Center in the Pioneer Museum, 100 2nd Ave SW. The visitors' center has a variety of eight flavors of hard serve ice cream. Enjoy a few scoops and tour the museum to take in local history. The basement has been renovated with new oil & gas and agriculture displays.
