(Updated February 24, 2021) Richland County COVID-19 Case Update

 

February 24, 2021

The Richland County Health Department is announcing 4 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in a Richland County resident, and the release of 1 individual. The total case count is at 1188, with1152 of the total cases recovered, and 21 active, with 15 deaths.

Case 1188: A female in her 40's who is not hospitalized. The individual was symptomatic.

Case 1187: A female in her 20's who is not hospitalized. The individual was symptomatic.

Case 1186: A female in her 30's who is not hospitalized. The individual was named as a contact to a positive case and was symptomatic.

Case 1185: A female in her

20's who is not hospitalized. The individual was symptomatic.

The Department strongly encourages all community members to take COVID-19recommendations and precautions seriously in order to stop the spread of the virus in the Richland County community. This includes staying home when ill, washing hands often, wearing a mask, and limiting your circle of contacts.
