The Richland County Health Department is announcing 4 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in a Richland County resident, the release of 6 individuals from COVID-19 isolation. The total case count is at 1235, with 1213 of the total cases recovered, with 17 deaths.
There are currently 5 active cases in Richland County. Case information is as follows:
Case 1235: A male in his 20's who was not hospitalized. The individual was symptomatic.
Case 1234: A male between the ages of 10 and 19 who was not hospitalized. The individual was named as a contact to a positive case and was symptomatic.
Case 1233: A male between the ages of 0 and 9 who was not hospitalized. The individual was named as a contact to a positive cases and was symptomatic.
Case 1232: A female in her 30's who was not hospitalized. The individual was named as a contact to a positive case and was symptomatic.
The Department continues to update case information in the State database. As such, case numbers on the State map will increase; however, each of these cases has been accounted for-these are not new active cases. The Department will continue to provide weekly updates, at the discretion of Department staff.
