Health Department to Pilot Walk-In Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID Clinic

The Richland County Health Department will be piloting a walk-in Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, May 5th from 1PM to 3PM.

The FDA recently lifted the pause on the administration of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine and issued an updated Emergency Use Authorization that includes warnings about rare side effects.

The Health Department will be offering the 1-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment on May 5th from 1PM to 3PM MST at the Health Department building, located at 1201 West Holly in Sidney. Those seeking the vaccine must be 18 years or age or older; and must not have received any other vaccines in the two weeks prior to the appointment (between April 21 and May 5). Those attending should bring their insurance card; and should expect to spend about 30 minutes at the Health Department. Because the clinic is a pilot, the Health Department expects there may be additional unforeseen wait times.

For questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, please call 406-433-6947.
