Dog's on The Deck Event To Take Place Throughout The Summer

Starting May 13, the Long X Visitor Center, Watford City, will be hosting a family-friendly BBQ event every Thursday from 5-8 p.m. This event will reoccur every Thursday night up until July 15.

The purpose of the event is to bring the community together and help raise funds for local nonprofits.

This community charitable event will have live music by local artists, a beer garden, a meal, games, and fun activities for all ages.

There will be hot dogs, chips, and cookies served at the event. The Long X Liquor store will also be selling stadium cups - once an individual purchases a stadium cup for $10, they can get a beer on tap for $3 when they return the following Thursdays.

“I am really excited about getting together with people and bringing families together. It is so fun to start hosting these summer activities that we didn’t get to have last year,” stated LeAnn Brown, the Long X Liquor Store General Manager.

Two years ago the Long X Visitor Center hosted this as a one-day event activity but this year they decided to start making this an annual event that will reoccur throughout the summer.

For more information on the event, contact the Long X Liquor Store at 701-444-3335 or the Pioneer Museum of McKenzie County at 701-444-2990.
