The Roundup -

The Roundup held their 18th Annual sugar beet Contest Thursday, Oct. 21. A special thanks to Neu's Super Valu and the Powder Keg, Fairview. for sponsoring the contest and all the entrants.

Winners for each age group are pictured, but honorable mentions go to Jacob Unruh, with his “Chili Pepper” beet; Cameron Unruh, with his “Squid” beet; Taylor Unruh with her “Mermaid Tail” beet; Trey Watson with her “Jason Voorhees” beet in the age 9-12 category; Erik Seigfreid with his “Harold” beet in the 6-8 category; and Parker Cayko, 5 & under category, with his “Mermaid” beet.

2nd place: 9-12 category, Blaz Dishon, Fairview, with his "Witch Crash" beet.
