The Sidney High School held their home meet Sunday, Nov. 21. There were 16 schools that competed with over 100 competitors. In Speech & Debate and in Drama the 1st place overall sweeps went to Sidney High School.
Humorous Oral Interpretaton: Abby Kyhl placed 1st.
Extemporaneous Speaking: Chloe Go placed 2nd, Gabby Juarez placed 3rd.
Informative Speaking: Chloe Go placed 2nd, Lily Reisig placed 8th.
Debate results:
Public Forum: Corbin Steinbeisser and Daniel Stevens placed 1st.
Lincoln Douglas: Mackeijan Gonzalez placed 4th.
Drama Results:
Humorous Theatre: Garrett Dodds and Markalen Watson placed 1st; Jade Emly and Emma Cundiff placed 4th.
Humorous Solo: Kodi Schulz placed 2nd, Cedar Hovde placed 3rd.
Classical Theatre: Markalen Watson, Kodi Schulz and Garrett Dodds placed 1st; Wyatt Reid and Emma Cundiff placed 2nd, Benjamin Stevens and Lucy Sommerfeld placed 4th.
Dramatic Solo: Wyatt Reid placed 2nd; Brooke Marie Watson placed 5th; Kaileigh LaRoche placed 6th.
Dramatic Theatre: Colten Dahl, Hayden Wiidanen, Cayla Hanson, placed 4th.
