Welcome Karli Olson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, To Great Plains Women's Health Center

Williston - Great Plains Women's Health Center (GPWHC) welcomes Karli Olson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, to the team! Karli grew up in Wildrose, ND, and is excited to return closer to home. She received her undergraduate degree from NDSU, a BS in nursing with a minor in human development and family science. Olson then pursued her Doctorate of Nursing practice at the University of Mary. The majority of Olson's career was spent at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, in trauma, general surgery, and cardiovascular surgery ICU. She relocated back to northwest North Dakota to finish graduate studies. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and kayaking.

Leland Tong, practice manager, feels that Karli is a strong addition to an already qualified team of providers-Dr. Beverly Tong, Dr. Sara Solberg, Dr. Yao Wang, and Lisa Peterson, PA. In western North Dakota, the demand for obstetric and gynecological services continues to grow. It is the goal of GPWHC to provide each patient with a high-quality experience and, as such, have added Olson.

Karli's experience and background will be an asset to the clinic as the primary focus is to provide excellent patient care. "I really wanted to come home and help serve the women and families of my community," said Olson. GPWHC offers advanced skills in the latest treatment of problems such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, and abnormal pap smears. For the expectant mother, OBGYN staff are well-equipped for both normal and high-risk obstetrics, coordinating high-risk pregnancy care with regional subspecialists if required.

GPWHC is committed to serving women, physically and emotionally, from adolescence to adulthood in all seasons of life. To make an appointment, please call 701-774-7687.
