Medical Benefits To Assist Family Of One Of Sidney's Youngest Natives

The Richland Ranger Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus are reaching out to help one of Sidney's youngest natives on Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22.

Blake, the daughter of Matt and Kindra Donvan was born on March 22, 2022 with a congenital heart defect. She underwent a heart transplant in July and is still in the hospital, recovering from complications. On Friday, the Richland Alumni Rangers are putting on the Bakken Hot Shot Tournament at the Richland Ranger Arena at 6 p.m. It is an all-adult tournament. The cost is $600 per team but it is free to watch. All proceeds will go to benefit the Donvan family. On Saturday, the Catholic Daughters and Knights of Columbus are coming together to put on a benefit for the Donvan family at the Sidney Elks Lodge BPOE 1782. The doors will open at 5 p.m. There will be a silent auction, goodwill offering meal, concert by Coleton McIntyre, and live auction.

Anyone wishing to donate for the silent auction can drop items off at Farm Bureau or Restorx. The Richland Ranger Arena is located at 601 7th Ave. SW and the Sidney Elks Lodge is at 123 3rd St. SW.
