WILLISTON, N.D. – The Williston City Christmas Tree is scheduled to be removed and transported on Monday, November 14th, 2022. The tree is coming from 205 11th Street East. Portions of 11th street east and 2nd avenue east will be blocked off after 8:15am to allow for student drop-off. School pick-up should not be affected. Crews from City of Williston Public Works will prep and remove the tree after 830am, with assistance from Basin Concrete and Trucking.
Once removed, the tree will be placed on a flatbed and travel east along 11th street to East Dakota Parkway, from East Dakota Parkway to 26th street, then west along 26th to 1st Ave West and 27th street. Traffic may be slower along these routes, so please plan accordingly.
The annual tree lighting ceremony will be announced for later in the month.
