The Fairview Chamber of Commerce is delighted to present a new, limited edition Christmas ornament designed by Fairview native Jeremy D. Krieger who is also a chamber member. The inaugural ornament from the Jeremy Dean Collection features the Lighting of the Bridge, an annual event organized by the Fairview Chamber. “With it being a Chamber event and me having ties to the fireworks and the first show, it was just fitting to be the first one,” Krieger explained.
The golden collectible ornaments will go on sale for $15 each at the Silver Bells Craft Show Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Fairview High School. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Numbers are limited so plan to get there early! A card explaining the history of the Lighting of the Bridge, which will take place that evening, will be included with each ornament. As of Monday, Nov. 28, ornaments will be available at Merchants Bank.
Each year the ornaments will feature town history and/or events. “I love the history of our town and while doing some research, the idea popped into my head,” Krieger said about the ornament idea. “Fairview is home and we have a great community. I guess this is my way of honoring and preserving history.”
