We will have some fun activities (scavenger hunt, coloring, snacks) for the kiddos in the theme of Literary Dogs (Clifford the Big Red Dog's Birthday is today: 2/14). Old Yeller, Clifford, Seaman (Louis & Clark's dog), Dog Man....We will even have a couple of pictures of Robin's Dogs: Zora and Hannah in the scavenger hunt.
We may also do some face painting depending on what we can get in at the time.
We are basing this on one of Robin's favorite animals because this is her birth month (2/3 was her birthday).
Robin started the store in November 1993. She had a way with kids, animals, and even adults: a kindness that people remember to this day; a way of thinking of her customers and making them feel like good friends and even family. We are collecting any memories, stories, and things people would like to share about the store or about Robin throughout the year and would love to hear from anyone willing to share! We have a few stories now. They can be shared in the store (we have a box near the register), to our social media (Facebook & Instagram-@booksonbroadwaywilliston), or through our website contact (www.booksonbroadwaywilliston.com). We will have events each month and will plan an event for November to celebrate 30 Years in Business!
