Williston Injury Crash

On July 20 at approximately 12:50 p.m. CT a two-vehicle injury crash occurred at the intersection of 11th St. W. and 32nd Ave. W., Williston.

A 2023 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Anna Blazicevich, Williston, ND, was traveling northbound on 32nd Ave. W., Williston, ND, near the roundabout with 11th Ave., W. A 2019 Ford Edge, driven by Katelund Cooper, Williston, ND, with three passengers, was going through the roundabout at the time. Blazicevich failed to yield to traffic in the roundabout and struck the Ford Edge. The Ford then spun and rolled before coming to rest on its roof. The Jeep spun and caught on fire. Blazicevich, Cooper, Nessie Gutierrez, and two juvenile passengers were transported via ambulance to CHI St. Alexius in Williston for their injuries.

Investigation revealed that Blazicevich was potentially under the influence of alcohol.

Blazicevich was placed under arrest for Criminal Vehicular Injury.

The agencies who responded to the crash were North Dakota Highway Patrol, Williston Police Department, Williston Fire Department and Williston Ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
