Richland Ranger Bantams Start Season As Champions

If you were in Sidney this past weekend the Richland Hockey Arena was the place to be. The arena stayed busy hosting 12 games for the 8th Annual Damon McLaughlin Memorial Tournament - Bantam level.

The home team Bantams dominated the ice this past weekend, going undefeated and keeping the championship right here at home.

Friday, Nov. 15, the Bantams faced off against the Crosby Comets and defeated the Comets 12-0.

Saturday, Nov. 16, brought the Bantams face to face with the Williston Flyers. Richland was victorious over the Flyers 14-1.

Sunday, Nov.17, the Richland Rangers skated away with the championship after defeating the Havre Ice Hawks 9-5.

The Bantams ended the weekend with a total of 35 goals and 35 assists.

Up next they will travel to Dickinson, on Dec. 8 to take on the Outlaws.
