Douglas Allen Wacker, 64, Anderson, CA Formerly Red Lodge, MT

Douglas Allen Wacker, age 64, left us to be with his creator on May 12, 2013. He was born on March 12, 1949 in Red Lodge, MT to parents Harold and Norma Wacker. Doug moved to Shasta County in 1959, where he grew up and attended Shasta High School, graduating in 1968. He then joined the military, serving in the United States Navy from 1969-1971. He returned to Shasta County after the Navy and worked as an appliance repair man for 40 years.

Doug had numerous friends throughout the community and enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing with his friends. He was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed by all.

Doug was preceded in death by his Parents and his brother, Rick Wacker of Anderson, CA.

Doug is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Christine Wacker of Anderson, CA; two grandsons, Tyson and Ashtin Wacker, brothers Greg Wacker (Robin) of Sheridan, WY and Rodger Wacker of Shingletown, CA; sisters Barbra Streetman (Glen) of Anderson, CA and Lynn Wacker of Anderson, CA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at the Northern California Veteran’s Cemetery, May 24th, 2013 at 3:15 p.m. A reception at a family member’s home will follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Doug’s name to the Northern California Veteran’s Cemetery.
