The songfest committee invites you to participate in EMBC’s annual songfest on Sunday, August 4. Song services are at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m, with a potluck at 5 p.m. EMBC will provide the main dish and beverages; others are asked to bring salads or desserts.
Our theme verse this year is 1 Chronicles 29:13, “Now, our God, we give you thanks and praise your glorious name.”
What makes songfest so special is when churches in the area come together to praise His name. Will you be able to join in lifting Him up with special music for the afternoon and evening sessions? All ages are welcome to glorify God with a joyful noise. Those interested in singing in a choir will practice between sessions and sing during the evening session. Also, help may be needed in the kitchen and for clean up.
An offering will be taken at both sessions for work at EMBC. The Lord has been doing great things at and through the camp. Camp attendance has increased; we have a new building for staff housing and the new girls dorm is still a work in progress. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!
