Watford City's Rough Rider Center To Offer Fun-Filled Day Oct. 16

On Saturday, Oct. 16, the Rough Rider Center will be hosting its annual Fall Festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will include a pumpkin patch, vendor show, fall-wreath-making, games for all ages, a pumpkin decorating contest, face painting, fun photo opportunities and more.

Admission is $5 per person to attend; ages 13 and under will receive a pumpkin painting kit and mini pumpkin with admission, thanks to the Long X Arts Foundation.

The Rough Rider Center, along with the help of Northern States Fishing Tools, has expanded Fall Fest to include an outdoor pumpkin patch. “Stop by and pick out your perfect pumpkin from the patch,” stated Rough Rider Center’s Lead Event Coordinator, Asha Kirkland.

This event is designed for everyone in the community including families, couples, and anyone interested in partaking in fun fall activities. “We are excited to bring back Fall Fest with new and exciting activities for the Watford City area and surrounding communities to enjoy,” added Kirkland.
