Boys & Girls Club Of Richland County Hosting State Conference

October will be a special month for Boys & Girls Club. The local Club is set to host the Boys & Girls Club State conference for the very first time at the end of the month. Clubs from all over Montana will be heading to the Sunrise City to come together for creative collaboration and trainings. The Richland County Club is finally getting the opportunity to host the event all thanks to the Lonsdale Center Clubhouse. In prior years, the afterschool program was run out of several classrooms of Central School and could not accommodate a large crowd. The Club now has an abundance of newly remodeled square footage and is eager to welcome fellow colleagues.

The Boys & Girls Club facility will in fact soon be open for anyone to come take a tour and meet the staff as the Club celebrates National Lights on Afterschool Day. This is a day to recognize the importance of Afterschool programs all around the country. Afterschool programs serve as a safe, educational space to develop young minds and help working families. Come experience what Boys & Girls Clubs of the MonDak has to offer on Oct. 25 from 6-7 p.m., at 201 3rd Ave. SE, Sidney.
