Live2Lead Coming to Watford City

On Monday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 19, for the first time Live2Lead is coming to Watford City. In an effort to bring access to the Atlanta, GA event to the people in the area, Calli will be hosting a rebroadcast of the conference.

Live2Lead is an annual leadership event broadcast to hundreds of communities around the world. It's an event designed to bring the best leadership teaching to growth-minded and active leaders everywhere. According to http://www.maxwellleadership.com, Live2Lead is held at the beginning of October every year but is rebroadcast in cities all over the country for those who did not attend. This year, New York Times bestselling author, coach, and speaker John C. Maxwell, founder and president of The Table Group, Patrick Lencioni, world-renowned presidential historian, public speaker, and Pulitzer Prize-winner, Doris Kearns Goodwin, World-renowned speaker, educator, pastor, and audible.com Audie Awards Finalist, Eric Thomas, and leadership expert, keynote speaker, Founder, and CEO of Growing Leaders, Dr. Tim Elmore were the speakers and came together to share their knowledge and experience in leadership. For years, Calli Thorne has been traveling to Bismarck to help her friend, Deb Eslinger, host a rebroadcast of the event. Calli has never made the trip to Georgia to see the event but several of her colleagues have. Nevertheless, Calli has taken advantage of what she has learned during the events and has become a part of the John Maxwell team. She regularly travels throughout North Dakota, other states, and even outside the country to do speaking, training, and coaching events.

In an intentional effort to provide Watford City and the surrounding region access to world-class thought leaders and a first-class leadership development experience, Live2Lead Watford City will be offered on the two dates to allow people who work weekends or weekdays the chance to see it. The Monday session will be held at the Watford City High School Performing Arts Center.
