Watford City Homefest Art In The Park Seeking Art, Craft, Food Vendors & Talent July 15

The Long X Arts Foundation is keeping the Homefest tradition alive in Watford City on July 15 as a way to welcome those returning for a visit and those who have made Watford City home.

Grab your friends and family and shop artists, crafters, makers and bakers as well as a variety of food options on Saturday, July 15, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Watford City Tourist Park. The event will feature a Hands-On Art Tent for Kids and families where the public can enjoy being creative with free art projects conducted by the Long X Arts Foundation staff. In addition, artists and crafters will be selling their work in the First International Bank Gallery on Main Street during the same time frame as part of the Homefest activities.

In order to make this event a success, Long X Arts is seeking more artists, makers and food vendors to fill the park. Vendor booth registration is only $25 for a 10x10 space and any interested parties are encouraged to register soon before the spaces are filled.

“The best part of this event is that there is creativity and activity around every corner,” said Long X Arts Foundation Director Jessie Scofield. “The Tourist Park is a perfect spot for families to spend time and enjoy the event together.”

In addition to shopping, Beaver Creek Creations will be hosting the ever-popular Baby Pageant at 11 a.m. Enter your 0-13 month-old for prizes! At noon nationally touring family comedian and ventriloquist, Jeff Wedgwood will be taking the stage. Local talent is encouraged to register for the Homefest Talent Contest at 2:30 p.m. for a chance to win cash prizes and to perform on the Ribfest Stage in August.
