On July 10 at approximately 9:10 p.m. an 11-year-old boy, Landon Shufflen, was reported missing to the Stanley Police Department. The Stanley Police Department began searching the local area where the juvenile was last seen.
As of 12:30 p.m. on July 11, a grid search of the area is being conducted by local agencies.
Residents in the area are asked to check their property including any outbuildings, sheds, or unoccupied structures. The juvenile was last seen wearing a gray short-sleeve shirt with red shorts and no shoes. The public is asked to contact the Mountrail County Dispatch at 701-628-2975 if they have any information.
The Stanley Police Department is being assisted by the Mountrail County Sheriff's Office, North Dakota Highway Patrol, Burke County Sheriff's Office, Stanley Fire Department, Tioga Police Department, Williston Police Department, Three Affiliated Tribes Emergency Management, and the Stanley Ambulance.
