District 2B appears in line to be increased to seven teams for basketball, volleyball and track starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
The Montana High School Association Executive Board voted to reclassify Plentywood High School from Class C to Class B during a meeting last week. The Wildcats are tentatively assigned to District 2B for basketball, volleyball and track. Plentywood will remain in the Eastern Division for eight-player football. Plentywood will compete in Class B for cross country
