Long X Posse, which hosts Dogs on the Deck, received some game changing donations recently, assisting them in their mission of providing a fun event and contributing to the community.
Danny's Home Rescue helped the foundation acquire a utility trailer to store all their materials in. They then remodeled it as well. LeeAnn Brown of Long X Posse said the crew worked 12 hours a day for 10 days straight to get it done. "Daniel Stahl, owner and carpenter, has put in so much time to this year's event, especially when this is our first year as The Long X Foundation. Danny is an amazing partner and volunteer," she said.
Cascade Glass & Sign Co. donated and installed all the signage on the trailer.
Farmers Union Oil, Watford City. heard that the Posse needed a new grill and donated a huge new BBQ grill to the foundation. "Dave with Farmer's Union Oil has given so much and we are so happy to have them as a partner," Brown said.
Dogs on the Deck takes place each Thursday from 5-8:30 pm CDT May 23 through June 27 at Kent Pelton Park in Watford City featuring live music, foot long hot dogs, games/crafts and a beer garden. Meals are $5 and include a hot dog, chips, cookie and a bottle of water.
