Fusion Advance During Divisional Track Meet

The Fusion struck for 36 points in the girls' division and eight points in the boys' division during the Eastern C divisional track meet in Wolf Point on Thursday.

Jolee Klempel won the divisional title in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.59 seconds. The freshman placed third in the 300-meter hurdles at 47.53 seconds, fourth in the shot put at 32-3 and fifth in the high jump by clearing 4-10.

Brynne Hill placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 34-1.

The 400-meter relay team consisting of Kelly Strohm, Lauren Prevost, Hill and Klempel finished second at 52.74 seconds.

In the boys' division, Austin Lien qualified for the state meet by taking second place with a best of 123-7 in the discus.
