    Sidney's boys earned second place and the Sidney girls placed seventh in the team standings at the Super Divisional Track Meet held in Laurel during the weekend. The Eagles scored 81 points for second in the boys standings. Belgrade earned the title with 95 points while Laurel was third with 68. In the girls division, Laurel won with 107 points followed by Lewistown with 71 and Livingston with 66.5 points. Sidney scored 34.5 points.   • Softball Squad Falls Short

    The Sidney softball team had its season ended at the Eastern A divisional tournament held in Billings. The Eagles lost a heartbreaker against Billings Central in the first round and then fell by an 8-1 margin to Miles City. In the opening round, the Eagles scored three runs in the third and fourth innings each before losing by an 8-7 margin. With Central ahead 2-0, Sidney went ahead in the bottom of the third as Madison Thiessen connected for a two-run homer.
