Richland County Fair & Rodeo This Week

“Spirit & Pride, County Wide!”

Wednesday, July 31(XTO Energy Day) starts off with Richland County Fair’s Agriculture Building opening at 6 a.m. Agriculture, Horticulture and Floriculture judging along with 4-H Class Showmanship will be taking place from 8-8:30 a.m. and all 4-H Livestock exhibit entries must be entered between 12-6 p.m. Join us for the Flag Raising Ceremony in the Oval at 1 p.m. and North Star Amusements is opening for the first time in Sidney, MT at 4 p.m. Then, the Horse Extravaganza will be kicking off the evening in the Grandstand Arena at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 1(Co-op Day) continues Fair Week with 4-H Market Beef weighing at 6:30 a.m. and Livestock (swine, sheep, dairy, goat) judging at 8:30 a.m. Walk over to the Sponsorship Tent at 4 p.m. to enjoy FREE root beer floats (serving until gone). At 7:30 p.m., be sure to attend the PRCA Rodeo presented by Brookman Rodeo, LLC with the theme being Military Appreciation Night.

Friday, August 2 (Thrivent Financial Day) begins with 4-H Showmanship at 8 a.m. and the overall contest at 11 a.m. Thrivent Financial will be sponsoring FREE mini cheesecakes at 3 p.m. Trophy & Awards presentations for 4-H participants will be held at the 4-H Arena at 4:30 p.m. with the Livestock Sale at 5 p.m. Then, don’t forget to wear pink to the PRCA Rodeo presented by Brookman Rodeo, LLC for Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 3 (Williston State College Day) will wrap up the week with the final evening event for this year’s fair, Montgomery Gentry with special guest Gloriana in concert.

The Fair’s ALL DAY activities include: North Star Amusements; LemurLand of Madagascar & CampJunction Exotic Petting Zoo; Super Science/The Original Fun With Physics; Caricatures by Connie and The Open Range Band (Friday & Saturday only).
