    An early morning fire discovered about 2 a.m. Thursday, March 7 destroyed one of three hangers at the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport. The biggest of the three was the hanger that contained the biggest snow removal equipment. Airport manager Ryan Huotari said that they still have back-up equipment to keep open in the event of snow fall and that the airport is functioning as usual. According to avid baseball fan, Ross Rosaaen, the old scoreboards quit working several years ago, diminishing the experience for fans. Rosaaen and many others in the community have been concerned about the decline of baseball in recent years and are actively working to bring the sport back to life.
