Farmer's Market Season 2013 Closed

The Richland County Farmer’s Market has finished another successful season. With temperatures outside falling, the Farmer’s Market held its last day on Saturday, October 5.

Both vendors and customers saw many changes this season. This was the first time Richland County Extension was hosting the market. To attract both more vendors and buyers, the Farmer’s Market was moved to Peterson Park by Reynolds Market. With more space available, the market has grown to up to 17 vendors this year. A variety of items were sold, including fresh garden produce, delicious jams and baked goods, and craftwork.

The agents from Richland County Extension are happy to have been part of the Farmer’s Market this year, and to have helped local vendors to sell high-quality products to our community. Many thanks are given to all the vendors who participated in the market this year, and to the Richland Federal Credit Union which has financed all advertisements.
