The Sunrise Woman’s Clinic will be holding its first ever Family Walk For Life, a 5K-course run/walk, Saturday, May 1, Veterans Memorial Park, Sidney.
Check in begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. Registration will still be taken at the event.
Sunrise Woman’s Clinic will also be raffling off two bikes for a boy and a girl during this event.
Proceeds from this event will go toward hiring a part-time nurse for the clinic, expanding current projects and outreach and continuing support of your women and families in the community.
There are no restrictions and no fees but they are accepting free will donations.
If you are unable to attend but would like to donate make checks payable to Sunrise Women’s Clinic with the memo “Families Walk For Life”.
About Sunrise Women’s Clinic (SWC)
All services provided by SWC are free and confidential. SWC offers free pregnancy tests and limited OB ultrasounds. A limited OB ultrasound that confirms a viable intrauterine pregnancy, estimates gestational age, and measures cardiac activity. The ultrasounds are limited in scope and not provided to diagnose abnormalities.
SWC also offers Pregnancy Support which includes:
• Options education
• Pregnancy/parenting classes
• Relationship coaching
There is also educational classes including

• Bible Study- (looking for a supporting church with space to hold Bible studies)
• Life Skills
SWC understands that with a new baby comes the need for material resources such as diapers and bottles. The clinic is happy to help supply families with what they need as they begin this new journey into parenthood.
