Laqua Elected MT State BPOE (Elks) President

Dr. Ryan Laqua, Sidney, proudly shows off the Montana state flag he displayed at the Elks National Convention, Tampa, FL, in July. Laqua now serves as the Montana Elks Association president.

Dr. Ryan Laqua, Sidney, was elected Montana 2021 state BPOE (Elks) Lodge president in July 2021. He will serve a 1-year term.

Laqua has owned Yellowstone Chiropractic Clinic, Sidney, for 20 years and has also been a member of the Sidney Elks Lodge for as long. He served as Exalted Ruler from 2006-08, District Deputy to the Grand Lodge from 2008-10 and has served on various state committees. He is the current trustee chairman for the local lodge. In July 2019 he was elected 2nd vice president of the Montana Elks Association.

At this year's national Elks convention in Tampa, FL, he was chosen to carry the Montana state flag in front of 6000 members.

Laqua is very active in the community. His memberships include:

Sidney Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture, Sidney Moose Lodge, API, Sidney Swim Team Board and Sons of Norway.

The Sidney Lodge focuses on serving the youth and veterans. They participate in the local and national Hoop Shoot program, drug awareness grants, awards the largest scholarship award, supporting community organizations and local benefits.

The lodge is the 4th largest in the state.

A 3-year remodeling project is coming to fruition this summer.
