Mid-Rivers is coming to the Fairview Senior Center June 12 to help us learn more about streaming, how it works, who are the carriers, and how it affects our internet charges. I don't know about you, but I am confused about how all of this works and with Mid-Rivers discontinuing cable TV at the end of this year, I need to learn more about my options. Roku? Prime? casting from my phone? smart TVs, what does this all mean? They will be coming both after the Monday congregate meal (if you qualify to come for meals, they will make your donation for you) and also again in the evening at 7 p.m. so more people can come.
