Touch-A-Truck Sidney Sept. 9

Mamas Helping Mamas, under the direction of Rylee Schroeder and Jaden Sovern, will be presenting the first annual Touch-a-Truck Event on Sept. 9 from 2-5 p.m., at the Richland County Fairgrounds.

There will be fire trucks, cop cars, and construction equipment for families with younger kids to gather and get hands on with the vehicles of our town that make it a safe and a functioning community. Vendors and food trucks will also be available.

“We have seen other communities put on the event with a great turn out and figured why not bring that here?”, said organizer Jaden Sovern.

There is no cost for the event, but attendees are asked to bring a canned good to donate to the food bank, or size 5/6 diapers or a new baby outfit to donate to the Sunrise Women’s Clinic.

If anyone would like to donate to Mamas Helping Mamas, sponsor Touch-a-Truck, bring a vehicle to the event, or even set up an informational booth at the event, please email [email protected]. The organizers are also looking for booths with activities for the kids.

Let’s kick off the new school year with a little more outdoor fun before the unpredictable Montana winter hits.
