Sadie's Has Moved To Central

Sadie's has moved from its former location of 17 years to its new location at 120 S. Central Ave.

Sandy Papka purchased the little restaurant in 2006. She owned and operated it until her son, Brandon Nelson, purchased it from her. Papka's health was failing her and she left this world at the beginning of 2023. After operating his new business for a while, Nelson noticed that the business was not doing very well, either. The patrons were kind and generous, but there just was not enough business at the location. Only a small portion of the surrounding populace regularly came within sight of the little restaurant. Nelson decided the café needed a new location. He had the equipment moved, did a little advertising, and Oct. 28, Sadie's opened at their new location between Sidney Eye Care and Rouge LLC, and across Central from the Meadowlark Brewery. Hundreds of vehicles drive by the big open windows every day. Nelson's sister, Melanie Aisenbrey, helps out on Wednesdays and Saturdays and he brought over the staff from the old location, Sadie's is still in need of employees and is currently hiring.

They are keeping the same great menu they had at the feedlot but have new hours. They are now open from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday-Friday and serve breakfast only on Saturdays from 6-11 a.m. They still deliver, but only after 8 a.m.

Visit them on Facebook to get a look at their daily specials or for changes. Call them at 406-433-9949 for more information or to place an order for delivery or takeout.
