Fusion Score At Fairview Track Meet

The Richey/Lambert Fusion earned 77 points in the girls' division for third place at the Fairview Invitational on May 1. Richey/Lambert scored 12 points in the boys' division.

Jolee Klempel was a triple-winner for Richey/Lambert's girls. The freshman took first in the 200 at 27.49 seconds, first in the 100-meter hurdles at 16.98 seconds and first in the shot put at 34-0. She cleared 4-10 for third place in the high jump.

Brynne Hill, a sophomore, also enjoyed a strong meet. She placed second in the triple jump at 33-3, fourth in the long jump at 14-7, fourth in the 800 at 2:49.95 and fifth in the 400 at 1:09.74.

Kally Strohm finished third in the 200 at 28.10 seconds. Jade Boese-Robbins placed fifth in the 800 at 2:49.96 and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles at 58.96 seconds. Brooke Lien took sixth in the discus with a best of 82-5.

The girls' 400-meter relay team consisting of Strohm, Lien, Hill and Klempel finished third at 54.01 seconds.

In the boys' division, William Head took fourth in the 400 at 59.39 seconds and Malik Boufenara was fourth in the 3200 at 13:28.53.

The boys' 400-meter relay team of Gus Klempel, Austin Lien, Head and Tanner Goosen took fifth at 50.64 seconds.

Lien placed fifth in the discus at 121-10.
