    Two separate events will take place to honor and recognize Sidney High School students for their educational efforts during the Academic Honors Social. Freshman through seniors who maintained a 3.5 GPA for three straight quarters will be recognized as a Lion Academic Scholar by the Sidney Lions Club. Students who are Lions Scholars have received an invitation to attend so they can be recognized for their tremendous accomplishment.   • Ag Ed. Department Replaces Old Recycling Sheds

    On Tuesday, May 15, FFA members and Agriculture Education students took the old recycling sheds and replaced them with blue and yellow recycling sheds in the Pamida parking lot.     Todd Hermanson, owner of Hermanson Fencing, gave a demonstration on fencing materials, tools, and techniques during some down time during the Big Muddy FFA mechanics CDE held in Sidney on February 20. While waiting for awards, an estimated 100 FFA students and advisers from thirteen surrounding towns watched Hermanson show and explain what he and his employees do at Hermanson Fencing.
