    The fall project of Sidney FFA and Agriculture Education students came to a completion recently as Marianne Gartner, Ethan Chamberlain and Ryan Steinbeisser put the finishing touches to the receiving center at Richland Opportunity Inc.. Students planned framed, poured and finished large concrete pads that were transported and established on site for employee safety and comfort as they work around the all weather site.     Rian Cobb of Sidney FFA attended Montana FFA Alumni Leadership Camp held annually in the High Wood Mountains this past June. Rian is a sophomore at SHS and is a Sidney FFA chapter officer as well. “I thoroughly enjoyed the camp and recommend it to others,” Rian remarked.   • Community Cooperation

    Savage FFA completed and delivered a new recycle shed for Richland County. It is located at IGA parking lot in Sidney. It replaces an older shed with issues. Richland Opportunity Inc. selected this site for its heavy use and a high traffic area of the county. The funds for this project were made possible through a National FFA Learning to Serve Rural Youth Development Grant.     Sidney FFA had chapter participants at the recent State FFA Convention where over 1500 members and guests participated in some fashion. James Topp, Travis Obergfell, Duran Vigesaa, Emily Schaff and Marianne Gartner were the participants from Sidney FFA Chapter. Emily participated as chapter delegate, public speaking, extemporaneous speaking and leadership scholar.
