    Great weekend for the Tiger Sharks in Glasgow despite the extremely hot weather of over 100 both days. They showed up, swam hard and brought home the first-place trophy. Kamden Johnson and Avé Norby both took home the high-point trophies for their age groups. We have one more regular season meet in Scobey before Divisionals in Plentywood.     Richland County's first Farmer's Market of 2022 took place in the Sidney/Richland County Library and Historic Richland County Courthouse parking lot July 9 from 7:30 a.m.-noon. Six different vendors both repeat and newcomers were present selling their wares. The Richland County Farmer's Market has been happening for over 25 years.     On July 19 at approximately 5:05 p.m. a 2020 Ford F-350, driven by 66-year-old Randall Moe, Tioga, ND, was traveling east on 60th St. NW. A 2004 Peterbilt, driven by 43-year-old Donnie Wurz, Choteau, MT, was traveling south on 129th Ave. NW, approximately 4 miles west of Epping, ND. Wurz failed to yield at the intersection and struck Moe on the driver side area of the vehicle. Wurz came to rest in the east ditch partially blocking 129th Ave NW.   • Health Department to End COVID Test Distribution

    The Richland County Health Department expects to run out of free home COVID-19 test kits by early September. The Department received 2300 home test kits in January and has distributed them to the community in the last several months. The remaining home COVID-19 tests have an extended expiration date of September 30th, 2022. The tests are located in the lobby of the Community Services Building, at 1201 West Holly in Sidney.
