It originally sat on 160 acres north-east of Williston along the Little Muddy Creek. In 1953 the legislature permitted relocation of the Station and the sale of 80 acres of the original 160 acres. Three agricultural events are merging to provide a bigger and better farming promotion. The Williston Research Extension Center’s(WREC) Dryland Field Day and Nesson Valley Irrigated Field Day will unite with the Mon-Dak Ag Showcase to offer a more diverse two-day event.
