    Sidney-Richland County Library is bringing back the Winter Reading Challenge! A twist on SRCL’s Summer Reading Program, the Winter Reading Challenge aims to keep reading skills strong while also being fun and entertaining. From Jan. 1-31, patrons of all ages can register and participate through READsquared. The daughter of Ron and Cyndee Brown; Janaye made many friends, was an all-star athlete, and did well in school. After graduating Sidney High School, she went on to Black Hills State University, Spearfish, SD, to get a bachelor’s degree in radiology.     Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center Prevention Services and Richland County Drug Free Communities is having their first ever Christmas movie and Sock Donation event in the Richland County Event Center Friday, Dec. 22. They will be showing “Elf” and attendees will be treated to hot cocoa during the movie. Those who come are expected to wear Christmas pajamas, bring socks, and their own blankets.     Getting swiftly through December and there are still some fun Christmas events coming up in Williston. The Spring Lake Park Drive is continuing from 5:30-9:30 p.m. every day through Dec. 31.
