Walleye pitcher Doug Rolfson pitched back to back game shutouts to lead his team to a first place finish in the Section 6 Tournament.
The Watford City Walleye Legion baseball team claimed first place in the Section 6 Tournament in Garrison. After falling to Makoti earlier in the tournament, the Walleye team defeated the Mavs 10-0(6 innings) and 11-0(5 innings) in the championship games on Saturday. The Walleye team will play Velva at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the first round of the American Legion Class B State Baseball Tournament held in Bottineau, July 27-30.
